How can instructors made library materials on Course Reading list available to students?

Answer

When faculty add physical library-owned resources (books, book chapters, multimedia, or articles) as well as electronic resources (database articles, PDFs, websites) to Course Readings via their Canvas site, library staff will process those materials to be held at the Circulation Desk. To increase accessibility, these items will be available for in-house check out for either 2 hours or 3 days based on the faculty's discretion.

Personal copies of print items that are not in the library may also be held at the Circulation Desk. The library does not digitize personal multimedia materials.

For questions about multimedia materials, please contact Scott Fish, Evening Supervisor/Reserves & Digitization, at sfish@ithaca.edu.

For general Course Reading questions, please contact library staff at reserve@ithaca.edu.

For questions regarding copyright permission, see the Ithaca College Policy Manual, section 2.32.
